Jodi Huffman-Frazee

APRN, PMHNP, BSN, MSN, MBA

Jodi is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Jodi has worked as a board-certified psychiatric nurse in Peoria, Illinois since 2015, working as a nurse on the inpatient behavioral health units at Carle Methodist. Jodi was the assistant nurse manager on the unit until she decided to return to school to be a Nurse Practitioner. At that time she transitioned to the Community Crisis Center as a nurse at Carle Trillium Place focusing on mental health and substance abuse disorders in the community.

Jodi earned her BSN in 2014 and her Master’s in Nursing Education in 2018 at Methodist College, Peoria, IL. She earned her post-master’s certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2022 from Saint Francis College of Nursing and is currently working towards her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Saint Francis College of Nursing.

Jodi has experience serving clients of all ages and all diagnoses but has special interest in substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, and more. Jodi believes in a holistic nursing approach and helps to navigate with the client to find their independence in care. She encourages taking a path that has both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options. She believes that each treatment plan needs to be a collaborative effort.

Jodi is an approved provider with BlueCross-BlueShield and Health Alliance.
